Alaina Shefelton

I have been in love with theatre for as long as I can remember.
From a young age, I've been performing in school talent shows, an a cappella group, Namesake, and various other community theatre and school productions.

After graduating from Freed-Hardeman University, I began my professional career with Stages St. Louis as a scenic painter and a year-long internship with Sacramento Theatre Company. Upon completing my internship, I have worked with companies like Big Idea Theatre Company in Sacramento, Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre, Nashville Repertory Theatre, Crane River Theater Company, and Cincinnati Shakespeare Company as both a scenic artist and performer. 

Currently, I'm studying at Mary Baldwin University in the Shakespeare & Performance program to earn an MLitt and MFA in Shakespeare and Performance. I am also excited to continue working as the Technical Director and Props Master at the American Shakespeare Center. Next up, Une Tempete and A Christmas Carol.
